Points will accumulate to the team (car) and not the driver. Any DDS member who brings a replacement car to race must meet the same requirements of a prospective member in order to receive points and qualifying money. There shall be no car or driver substitution after the first time trial has been completed.
Monies: Funds paid by the tracks shall be divided as follows:
$100.00 shall be reserved for the points fund.
$500.00 shall be reserved for the payout on the Quick 4.
The balance shall be divided among all racers, including the Quick 4, with
the exception of those not qualifying, who will receive a $50.00 tow fee.
At the end of the racing season, funds left in the account shall be prorated
and paid to the TOP 10 Points racers after payment of any expenses for awards.
Racing Hardship Rules: Race teams attending every race of the season will be allowed to choose points from all but two (2) races. Race teams attending all but one race of the season will be allowed to choose points from all but one race. Race teams that miss two (2) or more races of the season will be choose points from all races of the season attended.
Membership requirements:
1. A prospective member shall be sponsored by a current member and
voted by a majority of the members present.
2. The car shall be approved as well and will be seen running prior to
admittance to the organization.
3. A prospective member must run a 5.10 or quicker ET.
4. Must agree to abide by the rules of the organization
5. Once the above criteria have been met, the new member will be allowed to run in eliminations, if there is less than a sixteen car field.
If there are more than sixteen cars, a new member cannot bump a regular member from eliminations. However, they will be eligible
to qualify at the next scheduled event.
6. Any member who allow their dues to lapse for more than a calendar
year shall follow the same guidelines as a new member
Rules
1. Members will run heads-up pro tree on a 4.89 index during eliminations
2. If 16 or less cars attend a scheduled race, all shall receive their share
of the funds. If more than 16 cars attend a race, cars that do not qualify will receive $50.00 tow money.
3. There will be two (2) qualifying rounds
4. The fastest four (4) qualifiers will run heads-up with no index among themselves for the first two (2) rounds. The winner will
then roll over to the 4.89 index in the semi-final round.
5. Pairings will be set using an NHRA ladder. No more than 16 cars will run in any race.
6. Quickest ET will have lane choice in any round of competition except, in the case of a breakout or a double breakout, the car
closest to the index (4.89), shall have lane choice
7. NHRA disqualifications rules shall apply
8. During the first two (2) rounds of eliminations, cars receiving bye runs shall run together with the lowest ET receiving lane choice.
9. Each racer will have 2 minutes to get to the burn-out box when they are are called to make their run.
10. To receive round points, car must break beams under its own power.
11. After the burnouts have been completed and both cars are behind the starting line, cars should be prepared to pre-stage and stage
immediately.

13. All drivers, owners, and participants of the Dixie DoorSlammers program will conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner
